When readers are granted access through the Access Sharing automation and Grant Access features, they will receive the default template, which is the publication notification system template.
Now, you have the flexibility to design captivating email templates for readers whom you grant access to a publication, whether it's one time or on a regular basis.
To create a template, proceed to the Standard Campaign template section. Learn more about how to create and design a template here.
- Select the publication block and insert it in the email template
- From the publication block settings, enable the following toggle:
This setting turns the publication block into a placeholder that automatically displays the publication you are granting access to. - Once the email template is ready, go to the Default Settings of a collection
- Scroll down to Grant Access notification fields under General settings
- Select the template from the drop-down menu
- Set an email subject if necessary. Otherwise, the default email subject is "New publication is available for you"
- Save the changes
That's it! Now the chosen template will be automatically sent via email when granting access to a publication or triggering automatic notifications.
