Sticky banners are a powerful way to maximize visibility and engagement on your website. These banners remain fixed in position as users scroll or slide through the publication pages, ensuring your message stays in front of them without being interrupted. The Sticky Banners feature allows you to embed ads (or other content) inside the Viewer using HTML snippets.

How it looks
The viewer offers three slots for sticky banners: on the right side, at the bottom, and one at the top specifically designed for mobile viewer.
Right Side
Ideal for 160x600px ads
Bottom
Ideal for 728x90px ads
Both on the right side and at the bottom
Mobile
Ideal for 320x50px ads.
How to set up
Important: This can be set at both the collection level and individual publication level. If a publication has its own ad settings, they will be used; otherwise, the collection’s settings will apply.
To set up sticky banners for the viewer for all publications:
- Visit the collection
- Open the Viewer settings
- Enable the Sticky Ad slots toggle
- Insert the HTML code into the respective slot to display your ad within the viewer
- Click Save and Close to save the changes
To create banners for individual publications:
- Click Edit Settings
- Visit Viewer section
- Enable Sticky Ad slots toggle
💡 You can also retrieve the code of an ad from AdSense and place it on the Joomag viewer
❗️The ad slot will only be visible if the Viewer has a minimum size of 1120x600px. If the Viewer is smaller (e.g. zoomed in) than this size, the ads will be hidden.
That's it! Now your publication will grab attention with sticky banners that stay in view as users scroll/slide through your content.
