If you need to additionally brand your emails and do not wish your subscribers and contacts to receive your email campaigns from Joomag but only from your company domain, then this feature is for you!

To enable the sender domain feature perform the following steps:

Make sure you are logged in to your Joomag account

  1. Open Email Marketing session

  2. Go to the Settings tab and click Enable

  3. Click on the Enable hyperlink you will be directed to the corresponding page where you can enter your domain:

  4. You will be taken to this page to verify your domain and use the provided details as TXT records in your DNS settings.

  5. Go back to our Google Domains Domain Control Center and select the domain that needs to be used as a sender one in Joomag. Then click Manage button to add the resource record.

  6. Then from the left panel choose DNS and then click on the Manage Custom Records hyperlink:

  7. On this page scroll a little bit down and click on the Create new record button, choose TXT.

  8. Go back to your Joomag account Email Marketing Settings section and copy the needed data as shown in the screenshot below:

Click Save button in the Google Domains then go back to your Email Marketing Settings and click on Verify button.

Important: The status will be updated and shown as Verified

  9. Once the Verification is done you will see the pending status for the MAIL FROM Domain. To verify it you should go back again to your Google Domains account and add MX and SPF records.

  10. Perform the same steps as for adding the TXT record but this time choose MX record type

  11. To add the SPF record go back to your Google Domains and create a new record with TXT type (first screenshot is from the Joomag account, second one is from Google Domains)

  12. After adding the last record, simply Save the changes and go back to your Email Marketing Settings and click the Verify button.

  13. Once the MAIL FROM Domain is verified as well, the last step you need to perform is to verify the DKIM settings.

    1. For that, one more time go to your DNS settings and create a new record by choosing the CNAME type

    2. Copy the Name and Value from the Email Marketing setting and paste them into the respective fields in your DNS settings

  14. Once all three CNAME records are added simply click Save and go back to your Email Marketing Settings to verify the DKIM settings

  15. Finally, when the Sender domain, MAIL FROM domain and DKIM settings are verified you are ready to start sending out emails from your company's domain!

Important: It is not possible to enable the Sender domain and Sender email features together. You can have one sender identity only.

Tip: If you do not have a domain name for enabling the sender domain feature, you can simply use a corporate email address and set it up as a sender email.

Congratulations!🎉 Now you know how to enable the sender domain for your account.
