Enable double opt-in on form submissions

Double opt-in for lead generation forms ensures that only genuinely interested prospects are added to your list, improving data accuracy and engagement by requiring users to confirm their email addresses before being added. This process enhances the quality of your leads and protects against spam.

Anyone who submitted the form will be emailed to confirm their email address. They must click the link in the confirmation email before appearing in your CRM.

To enable double opt-in follow these steps:

  1. Access the Form Settings
  2. Scroll down and enable the double opt-in toggle

  3. Choose the email template that should be sent to those who submitted the form from the drop-down list
  4. Specify the email subject line



Note: Select a template that includes the confirmation placeholder link. Otherwise, the double opt-in functionality will not work. Here's an article explaining how to insert the placeholder link into the email template.
