There are five types of system templates per collection. - **New published edition**: The Newly published edition is used to notify active subscribers about a new publication. This template is used only if you have enabled either a free or paid subscription on the collection. However, you can choose whether to notify or not the subscribers when pushing the publication live. - **Subscription confirmation**: The template is sent to a reader once he/she subscribes to the publication. This template is used only if you have enabled either a free or paid subscription on the collection. - **Single publication**: The template is used in the Email Marketing section when you send a "Single Publication" campaign. - **Complimentary subscription**: The template is used in the Email Marketing section when you send a "Complimentary Subscription" campaign. - **Publication notification**: The template is used to notify your contacts when you share a publication with them.
