Getting Started with Template Blocks
A template block is a pre-designed layout that can be reused across different pages or publications. These blocks typically include elements like text areas, images, icons, buttons, or other design components that follow a specific format or style.
Here's how you can work with template blocks in the Joomag editor.
Save elements as a template block
- Select an element or a group of elements and click Save as Template Block located in the right toolbar
- Specify block name, you can also set a category or a tag for easier search among the template blocks
- Save as template block
Re-use the elements
- While you are working on a different page or a publication, click Blocks located in the left toolbar to open the list of saved template blocks
- Hover over the desired block and click Use to insert the elements in the same position from which they were originally copied
- Click on the meat balls menu to modify the properties (name, category and tag) of the template block. You can also update the content of the block or delete it
