# Change paragraph formatting

Proper paragraph alignment is crucial when working with texts to maintain a clean and organized look. To assist with this, our paragraph formatting feature is here to guide you.

If you wish to change the **paragraph alignment**, follow these steps:

1. Click on the text frame to activate the text-editing toolbar on the left

2. Apply one of the following alignment types:

### **Paragraph spacing**

Click the up or down arrows to adjust the distance before or after the paragraph. You can also type a number directly.
